Steve Marriott: Astoria Memorial Concert $23.79 A talented musician fraught with a troubled career, Steve Marriott is best remembered as the frontman for the mod band the Small Faces, which also included Ronnie Lane, and future Who drummer Kenny Jones. At odds with his fame and dogged by the constant near-miss of success, Marriott nonetheless played with a passion and innovation that has inspired generations. His early demise when his house caught fire was a tragedy to the music world, and his popularity has, ironically, only grown since his death. This footage documents the concert held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Marriott’s death. Steve Marriott: All or Nothing – Live From London $12.71 This concert release from guitarist Steve Marriott captures a live performance recorded at Camden Palace Theatre in London in 1985. Some of the songs featured in the program include I Don’t Need No Doctor, 30 Days in the Hole, and Watcha Gonna Do About It. ~ Cammila Albertson, Rovi Humble Pie singles 30 Days In The Hole and I Don’t Need No Doctor. Marriott is quite simply a rock n roll legend – as leader of the Small Faces and Humble Pie he is responsible for some of the all-time great songs created by any British musician. Marriott formed the Small Faces with Ronnie Lane in 1964 and they went on to become of the legendary British bands of their era with classic hit songs including All Or Nothing, Tin Soldier, Lazy Sunday and Itchycoo Park and the seminal album Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake. The band split in 1969 and Marriott went on to form Humble Pie with Peter Frampton – creating one of the 70′s first supergroups and enjoying success on both sides of the Atlantic. Sadly, Marriott died in a house fire in 1991 – but his legacy and loyal fanbase around the world continue on. |

Steve Marriott: All or Nothing – Live From Germany $16.96 This musical compilation release actually consists of two separate events, mounted and performed fourteen years apart. Both are centered around the late rock icon Steve Marriott, veteran of Humble Pie and The Small Faces, who died in a house fire in April 1991. In the first, dubbed “The Lost Concert,” Marriott takes the stage at the Dragon’s Waldcafe in Saarbruecken, Germany on October 10, 1987 and performs such numbers as “Don’t Lie to Me,” “All or Nothing,” “Run Rudolph Run” and “My Girl.” The second segment consists of a memorial concert tribute to Marriott, mounted and performed in April 2001, exactly ten years after the musician’s death.
